Jo is a passionate public speaker, sharing her story with grace and parity on what it’s like to live with Usher syndrome, adapting to challenges and facing life with a determined and positive mindset.

She has guested at seminars, webinars, conferences and patient panels bringing her lifetime of unique insights on Diversity Equity Inclusion and Access (DEIA), Public and Patient Involvement and Engagement (PPIE), campaigning and maintaining a presence in public, professional and social spaces, appearing on radio, TV, film, podcasts, social and print media.

Jo has a boundless and powerful energy that inspires, connects and delivers a message of empowerment and a search for justice for those living with Usher syndrome. With humility and humour, she is a modern day warrior with power, a woman with purpose, a woman with agency - she is, Jo Milne.
